Picture better than board!, August 22, 2008

"The color of the wood in the picture is quite a bit darker than the actual product--actual board looks like it was made from a very light pine, not a sugar maple!

The initial in the middle of the board looks as though it was painted on--I thought it would have been burned into the wood, but not--wonder how long it will stay on the wood withought rubbing off!

Not a great value for the price"

"Wood is great to work with. High quality. Be sure to get a separate cutting board for using veggies. Wood is porous. Has a drain channel which is very nice to hold meat juices. But, don't cross-contaminate with vegetables. This one has good weight and not too easily slid around while cutting."
