"I really am enjoying this wallet. I looked over the fine selection that Orvis had and happily settled on this one. It holds ALL my cards and still manages to stay slim in my pocket. Because its just a tad larger than some wallets at 4 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches, it also holds all types of foreign currency, which is really handy when traveling. And the leather is beautiful. Soft but sturdy. It looks great when I take it out and has earned all kinds of compliments in the short time I have owned it so far."

Perfect for cards,

"I purchased a new wallet because my credit cards kept snapping. After several weeks of research to find a better wallet with good quality and proper design I settled on this hipster. So far it seems to be working great. The larger profile allows for my cards to be spread out more evenly, thus eliminating the pressure my cards received from smaller, compact wallets.
Leather is excellent, cash holder is deep and lined with soft leather. Although it's big, this wallet is more comfortable to sit on as well.
Great wallet."

"This is hands down the best wallet that I have own. With the movement that we do in the miltary this wallet has been through everything. From two deployments in the Middle East to the everyday wear and tear of a bring a military member this wallet is the best. I've carried one since 1996 and on number 2."

"I got one for my son, and had it personalized. He has used it for a while now and likes it so much I had to get one for myself. I also like it: it's slim so it fits in a jacket pocket without producing a bulge, but it still has plenty of room for cards, licenses and even cash. Looks great too."

"Prior to buying my current wallet in 1997 or 98 I would wear wallets out in about a year. I even picked up a wallet in Italy thinking it would be better It wasnt.... I bought my Orvis wallet in the late 90s and its still holding on. Of course its starting to show its age but only lng after others would have fallen apart.
I'm on their website, now, finally, looking to relace the Orvis wallet that has held its own for years."

"I bought my Battenkill wallet in 1997. It has been through many trips, overstuffing with receipts, and years of abuse. It's held up great. Unfortunately it was recently stolen on a trip but I'm ordering my new one now. I wouldn't think of buying a different wallet. No other piece of equipment I own has held up as well as this wallet. It's a sound investment and worth every penny."

"Bought a Battenkill wallet in 1996 and it has proved to be simply the toughest wallet ever! Rampant abuse and salt-water dunks seem to have no effect on it. All of the stitching is unfrayed, and even the corners are in decent shape. My previous far more expensive Italian wallet while slimmer and perhaps more 'stylish' only lasted two years under such abuse and came with no lifetime guarantee. My hat is off to Orvis for producing such a superior product - it's no wonder why they are confident enough to guarantee it for life!"
