"I wrote a review on this dog coat three years ago and just had to write again. Why, because this dog coat is over three years old and looks like it was just purchased. The outer layer is as good as the day I received it and is fabulous for keeping rain and snow off and the inner layer is still as soft and comfy as when I received it. I put it in the washer and dryer and it comes out perfectly. My doberman wears it all winter whenever she goes outside and at almost nine years still rips all over the yard and field like a young dog. She recently received the fleece dog warmer which is great also."

"I couldn't be happier with this jacket for my senior bearded collie. With his older age he has lost his undercoat hair and needed extra protection from the cold Minnesota falls and winters. The jacket kept him dry during our cold rainy October. It is easy to get on and off and the quality is excellent. He wore it to a vet appointment recently and the vet had the whole clinic looking at it and admiring the quality and good looks of the jacket. Would definitely recommend this jacket."

"This is a serious dog coat - nothing cutsey about it. Perfect for my older guy. Caution: I ordered this online and went by the sizes S, M, L, etc. and the inches. I had to return the coat for a larger size. In the catalog, there is a weight range given for each size. Had that been available online, I would have ordered the correct size the first time around."

"Boston Terriers are really hard to fit because of their large necks and chests in comparison to their small body size. This coat fits my Boston beautifully! It's warm,waterproof, exceptionally well made, and has adjustable straps to fit any shaped dog. He can gain or lose weight and the straps allow for all of that. "We live in Duluth, Minnesota where subzero temperatures are a norm in the winter. When it's below zero I put this on my young dogs when I take them snowshoeing and it keeps them from shivering. They're both short haired dogs and this product has been a godsend."

"I've never found a better doggie coat. My 75 lb. Weimaraner and my 65 lb. harrier are short-haired dogs that spend a lot of time in the snow in the winter and I feel better about leaving them in the cold for long periods when they have some extra covering. They're nice and warm because the fleece is pretty thick. Also the bright red color keeps them safer around hunters. The coats are the easiest to take on and off, and they look the most like DOG coats - not sissy coats! haha!"
