Art Nouveau Peacock Jacket

Inspired by the vivid stained glass windows of the Art Nouveau era, our stunning jacket for women is truly a work of art. Made exclusively for Orvis customers, the intricate peacock design is printed in shades of gold, blue, and green, trimmed with a spring green cotton. The handcrafted jacket reverses to a solid spring green cotton with flower-shaped mother-of-pearl buttons. Both sides feature button-and-loop closures, two patch pockets, and trapunto stitching. 9½" side vents. Please note: Due to variations in the dyes, this jacket may be a brighter green than the version that is pictured here. Long colorful jacket for women in multi print. Pure cotton. Washable. Imported.Sizes: S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16), XL(18-20); about 33½" long.

"I collect Orvis trapunto jackets, even bathrobes and quilts.
This is perhaps the most spectacular of all.
Compliments are guaranteed every time I wear it.
As it is longer, it is figure flattering. I like to wear it to work with a long denim skirt or black slacks.
My preference is to buy large, then wash & dry to give the trapunto a slightly puffy texture. Others might prefer dry clean to keep it in museum condition. Like all other Orivs clothing and pet products I have purchased, it is extremely well made and very durable. It is so beautiful that I even enjoy seeing it hanging in my closet."
