Made in Brazil of supple, subtly pebble-grained leather and fully lined. In black, brown. Handles are 30" long. 11½"H x 12"W x 5½"D. Imported.

"I am ordering one for my daughter, which says a lot since she is the quintessential "bag lady" in our family. She saw mine and loved it. I can put my Macbook in this bag and have lots of room for my appointment book and fat billfold. The cell pocket has a wide opening which allows the phone to slip easily in and out. That is a nice touch for my older and not so nimble fingers. Everyone has reviewed the long straps, but I like it best that they go all the way down the face of the bag and will not pull it out of shape with the Macbook weight. Orvis is a bit pricey and I don't buy as much as I used to, but when I do get something it is well made."

"I bought the black purse, and am very pleased with it. It's on the smallish side but it fits a lot of stuff. I've got a beading kit, my reading glasses, phone, ipod, large wallet, card case, sunglass clip, and various sundries, and it all works well, and doesn't look bulgy. I think the dark tan interior works well and helps you locate stuff more easily. The long straps work with a large winter coat. it also sits upright fully loaded and doesn't fall over. Only thing it won't fit with all my stuff is a steel water bottle, but I could probably shove it in if needed."

"The quality of the handbag was moderate, and I would say was appropriate for a bag that sold for about $60-80. The leather was not of the quality that should be in the $150 range. To fit it into the box for shipping, it was partially folded, leaving a lot of creases in the product when I took it out of the box. I may have put up with these problems, since I liked the outside pockets as well as the inside zip versus snap pockets -- these were all a thought ful design -- but I ordered the black leather bag. I was very surprised to find that it was not lined in black but in a cream color. This came off as very tacky. Needless to say, I returned the bag."

"Like others, I really like this bag and find it an ideal handbag with many versitile features. Its only flaw is its color. I like chocolate brown but this color is a FLAT brown with no sheen or other color details. Maybe as it ages and wears, it will gain some roughed up lighter color to it. If not for the color, I would give this bag a 5 star rating."

"I just received the black tote. The design of the various compartments is excellent and easy to organize and access contents that I must take with me. The height of mine is 10.5". I would not mind if it were an inch taller and an inch wider. The long straps are perfect for a tall person to use as a shoulder bag. The quality and construction seems very good. I normally don't spend over $50 on bags because I like to replace when they get tired looking. I have great expectations of this one!"

"I love this tote. I have it in black. This is the third fall and winter I have used it. It is just great. About the only thing that hasn't been jammed into it is something wet. I don't put my water bottle in it, but almost anything else. I like that it is divided. The zipper side holds everything I don't use on a daily basis and snapped side holds everything I need to use daily. Still looks as good as the day I got it."

"Color now shown represents actual color, which is chocolate brown. Height and width are slightly less than noted, which was disappointing. At nearly $14 and a full week to arrive, shipping was slow and expensive. That said, the tote is attractive, sturdy and functional. I hope to get many years of service."

"I too waited forever for this bag to come back in stock last year, and finally I got it, but was VERY disappointed in the color, the brown is nothing like the picture in the mag and they really need to change it so people won't be disppointed. It was a very expensive bag for me to not just love it so I sent it back, very disappointed and sorry that I could not get over the color difference, but still hopeful that one day the bag will be available in the brown shown on the ad."

"i love the bag..........it was everything i expected, except one: THE COLOR!!! i was expecting more of a natural brown, a sienna color, if you will. the picture you have on your website is quite misleading. the color of the bag is CHOCOLATE BROWN...........which is not what is pictured. with that said, i know i'll enjoy the bag. its roomy and big enough for all my junk, and i love that long strap............but was just surprised by the color."

"I have carried this tote to school as my "teacher's book bag" every school day for over 10 years, and it still looks great! I've gone through a lot of book bags, but this one is a keeper. It stands up to rugged use and can be absolutely stuffed with heavy books without damage. The small amount of wear it now has on it just adds a wonderful patina. I plan to retire at the end of this school year, but my tote and I will still be on the go!"

"I love this bag. Of all the bags I own, this is my favorite. I have had mine for several years and it still looks like new. The leather is so soft, but it will stand up to anything you put it through. This bag has many pockets and the straps are just right to wear over your shoulder, even while wearing a coat.It's a good sized bag, but not overly big.
