Deerskin & Fleece Shooting Glove,
October 26, 2009

"My wife bought these for me as part of my birthday gifts and they are exceptional gloves for "dress casual" affairs and all around...except working in the yard. I prefer external finger access for shooting though."

Great Gloves!,
October 19, 2009

"I already have a pair of the hawthorn waterproof gloves. I picked these up because I was looking for something a little lighter weight. They are well made and absolutely fit the bill for cool, dry weather bird hunting. I wore them in the field for the first time last week. They felt great and did not impede my ability to handle the safety or trigger on my O/U. Very nice."

"I have searched high and low for some good shooting gloves. I was looking for fit, warmth, feel and lack of bulk. These gloves have it all. The deerskin is supple and makes it easy to get a good feel for my shotgun. The fleece is warm and not to bulky. I love these things. My only wish is that the fingers were a bit shorter. Perhaps size them like golves with cadet sizes (wide palms and shorter finger sizes). Otherwise these gloves rock"

"Very good price for a nice deerskin glove. For the real cold monthhs in January and February I went with the Orvis 2 in one deerskin gloves which are very warm for the colder months. The two in ones are another nice deeskin glove for the price . Check them out."

just one problem,

"Very handsome gloves and good against cold and wind. However, they are just slightly bulky for shooting gloves. I bought them before a trip to SoDak but ended up having to cut a slit in the trigger finger."

Good but would have been better if as advertised.,

"These gloves fit well and have a good feel for shooting. I find them comfortable in moderate cold -- say down to 25˚ F. But they are not "windproof" as promoted in the description. This would have made a good glove even better, and more useful in the wind and colder temperatures."

Good for Range,
December 7, 2007
By:
Fitzfrom Virginia
"These gloves are largely as advertised - supple and warm light duty gloves. I found them good down to about 30 degrees. I also note that, because they are deerskin, they are better suited for the range than the field, meaning that they are not rugged enough for the kind of abuse gloves get when hunting or working. In light of this fact, they also make good daily use gloves, including for driving. Perhaps another color or two would be nice, such as dark brown or olive."

"I wore these gloves last year on a December pheasant-hunting trip to South Dakota. Temperatures well below freezing and strong winds could not penetrate them. Trigger and safety feel was exceptional. I even got compliments on the looks of the gloves."

"Since I've received my deerskin and fleece shooting gloves, I've enjoyed both the stylish look and warm comfort they provide. The combination leather and Berber are very stylish making these men's gloves great for both casual and formal wear. Great gloves!"
