"I purchased this sweater for an African safari; for the cool nights and cooler African mornings. It's perfect for the job. The wool is soft but rugged. The color is perfect and the shoulder patches very functional. It's comfortable, warm, not too heavy and great looking."

"I purchased the commando sweater and didn't wear it for a while. Once the snow flew I tried it out and it was very attractive and warm. I've worn it casually and in the field. It's an excellent sweater and is amazingly warm! It's now my favorite sweater. It can be worn with nice slacks and or in the field. I would highly recommend this excellent article of clothing. Barbour makes quality clothing!"

"I wanted to pick up one new sweater for this winter. I wanted something really nice, wool, and that had a classic look. When I came across this sweater I knew this was the perfect fit. The price was pretty steep but I liked that it was made in Scotland and the style was exactly what I was looking for. I only hoped that the quality would live up to my expectations. It did. This is a great sweater and you can tell it's quality by inspecting the details on it. The fit was also great. It is generously cut, I'm usually either an XL or a XXL and I chanced it with the XL and it was the right choice and fits perfectly. I would not hesitate to buy this again and it's a good thing for my wallet they don't have it in any other colors."
