"The shoes arrived on Friday and I wore them all weekend. They were comfortable from the start and were pretty much broken in by Sunday. The quality shows in both the materials and the workmanship. Once you wear the shoes you feel you have received real value. And to top it all off, they are Made in the USA!"

"Picked these Orvis Goeky boat shoes up at the Orvis Sandestin store last month and they are great. Easy break in, especially considering the durable leather & craftsmanship. Comfortable the 1st day & like an old friend by the end of the week. Wished I had bought these boat shoes years ago."

"Well, the leather is certainly rugged enough that these boat shoes may live up to their billing as 'the world's most durable', but they require really durable feet to get comfortable in them. The problem is that they are sewn with nylon thread with sharp cut ends poking into the interior of the shoes and into the feet. Ouch. Moreover, the left shoe on the pair I bought has a spot which was improperly cut and the stitching there appears already to be splitting. I am a fan of all things Orvis, but it's going to take some time for my feet to fall in love with these painful boat shoes."
