"This is best cotton shirt ever! My husband has tried ever brand and make of cotton shirts - this Orvis cotton shirt is his favorite and the only one he buys. It looks just as crisp in the afternoon as it does when first put on in the morning. The monogram really compliments the look of the shirt."

Expensive....but worth it!,

"At $79.00 a pop, these shirts are expensive but they are worth every penny. Well made, well-cut and slighly longer in the body so they stay tucked in. The fabric itself is beautiful with a nice sheen to it and they wash beautifully. Orvis is my new first stop for dress shirts!"

"I bought this shirt to replace the same basic Orvis shirt which I have had for many years and considered one of my favorite weekend/casual shirts. The new shirt is almost exactly the same cut and style as the previous except for one area. It has a permanent press/no-iron finish. Now it looks like a corporate boardroom shirt of which I already have a closet full. I prefer the heavy oxford cotton natural look with a bit of wrinkle and a softer looking finish on a sporting shirt. I thought a few washes might change things, but it still looks like it was just pressed and starched. It's a nice shirt, well made, and I will keep it, but I would have preferred the natural cotton finish over the no-iron finish. Unfortunately, that is no longer an option. If you are looking for a weekend/sport shirt, something a bit more casual than your business shirts, you may want to rethink this purchase."

"It's necessary that 2 comments be made. a) The product was as perfect as one could hope to be for my unusual shape. The feeling of the material was as the company said it would be. Very, very light. The appearance of the said product decided whether I would buy a second and third personal garment. And I will! b) An added feature which I need to share is the efficiency ot the Web. site.
