"All purchases from Orvis have past expectations in look sand quality, which is what I expected. "This is my second Simoom Polo Shirt. I love them both. Very comfortable to wear and very warm. The shirt is not too heavy and not too light, just the right weight. The elbow patches give the sweater a classic look. It seems I get a nice compliment from my friends every time I wear the shirt. I would defintely recommend this shirt to my friends."

"This thing is hit and miss. It's a hit because it looks awesome and keeps you warm...it's a miss because it's probably $20 too expensive and the elbow patches hardly ever line up with the elbow. If you have an extra twenty bucks and don't mind the really cool elbow patches slightly off, it's a really nice sweatshirt."

"In Utah, the weather is a roll of the dice 8 months of the year, You need top notch duds that can go from sunny and mild to stick your nose shut cold in about a nano second. The simoom is the kind of friendly top layer that makes it all happen; even with such weather dynamics. I can wear it with boots and jeans or as an offset to slacks. "I bought this shirt because of its looks alone. I had forgotten it came with leather patches on the elbows. When I saw this shirt out of the package I wondered if it was long wasted enough for a 6'-6" tall guy. Wow! The fit is great. Then I noticed the care instructions contained more "Don'ts" than "Do's". "What have I got here?' I thought to myself. "I don't know how to wash a shirt with leather elbow patches. " I thought -- wrong. It's easy. I do use a steamy iron and hold it 1/2" above the fabric to remove the few wrinkles that survive -- and this works on the leather elbow patches too. Just use a little common sense and follow the easy wash instructions and you'll see why I wanted to write this comment. Heads will turn in this one."
