"I bought these for a flyfishing trip to Chile West on the recommendation of the Betheda store clerk. I hesitated to spend this much but since I didn't want any equipment issues for a "trip of a life-time." I absolutely love them and use them to walk the dog in sub teens temps, using the snow blower, around the house and under my ski pants...as well as under waders of course.
I've had them for almost 1 yr and would love to have 4-5 more pairs. I absolutey love them and I expect you will also. !!"

Great Features, Poor Material,

"I have very mixed feelings about these fleece bottoms. The features are great, especially the gathered bottom cuff, as they don't ride up when pulling fishing waders up. The fleece material looked great when new, but immediately began to cast off "pills" of fiber. This has continued after the first washing. As this occurs the appearance is degrading, and I actually think holes in the material will develop fairly soon."

"These keep me warm and comfortable under my breathable waders but are not hot. I regualrly hike 4 miles in a day of fishing my favorite stream. Water temperatures in the 40's and 50's this time of year. I highly reccomend. Best under wader pants I have had."

"I am very happy with these pants! I live at high altitude in Wyoming where it is usually cold and the wind always seems to be blowing. I have been wearing these pants under my waders in 20 to 30 degree weather and they have been quite comfortable and warm. I like the fact that they are not very bulky and fit nicely under the waders. In addition to fishing, this past Saturday I wore these pants under my regular pants to a college football game where the wind chill was below freezing and we were sitting on metal bleachers for over 3 hours. I was warm and comfortable the entire game. I also plan to wear these under my ski pants while skiing and snowshoeing this wither. The materials and construction of these pants are of very high quality, as you would expect from Orvis.
The only feature I with these pants had would be stirups to go under the foot when putting on waders. Even if they could be removable, it would be a great addition to this quality product."

"They are very comfortable and have a nice fit. One of the things I really like is the pockets and waist adjuster. Like others have said they are comfortable just to wear around the house. The only thing that I wish they had was the stirrup so they cant ride up when putting on my waders"
