Great Sweater Useless Pockets,
May 6, 2009
By:
Highwayman
"The sweater is great but the pockets are useless - shallow and vertually horizontal, ejecting everything that you put in them. It needs zip pockets."

February 5, 2009
By:

"My wife bought this sweater jacket for me for Christmas and it is my favorite present. Very comfortable, well made and distinctive--comfortable in the office or just driving around. I will probably order another in a differnent color while it is still available."

Why Cotton?,
February 5, 2009
By:
PndDr
"Billed as a rugged outdoor sweater, yet made of cotton, which is totally worthless when wet. Make it in wool and I'll buy a dozen."

GREATEST SWEATER EVER,
January 18, 2009
By:
DWLangfrom Bartlett, IL
"Not only does this sweater look great, it's the warmest and most comfortable sweater ever! The inside lining is soft and comfortable and the entire sweater is warm and has some weight to it. I love wearing it as a sweater and as a liner under my leather coat for cold Chicago winters as the sweater zips up nice and snug around the neck."

Great Sweater! Nice Fit!,
November 10, 2008
By:
BusinessTeacherfrom Charleston, SC
"I have a short but very stocky build. I don't like tight fitting clothing but I hate it when I have too much excess "hang". I purchased the 2XL sweater and it was a perfect fit for me. Warm but not hot; heavy but not bulky. Casual but has a very unique/distinct look about it. It seems very well made. I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of this sweater this year! Already plotting my next purchase . . ."

My Favorite Sweater,
September 17, 2008
By:
wrbtufrom Long Island
"I own over a dozen zip or button-front sweaters, from various companies, but this is by far my favorite. Not only that, it's the best item I've ever bought from Orvis! It's unbelievably comfortable. The inside is lined with not just any sweatshirt cotton, but the softest cotton I've found in a sweatshirt material. The fit is relaxed & not restrictive. Nice touches are found in the elbow patches, two-way zipper, & side pockets. I have it in olive, & this year I'll be buying the black one, too, unless Orvis comes out with a khaki color (hint to Orvis). It's worth more than the $98 they charge for such a well-made, comfortable sweater."

Terrific Sweater!,
March 9, 2008
By:
Brendafrom Gladstone, MI
"This sweater is wonderful. It is unique in the sense that it is lined, so it is very warm and cozy like a jacket would be. I purchased 2 of these, one for my husband and one for my father. Both men can't stop raving about the sweaters and absolutely love them!"

Go-to Sweater,
November 13, 2007
By:
RobbieTfrom Pittsburgh, PA
"My first Orvis item satisfied me across the board. Very comfy and warm without being itchy or stifling - wears like a sweatshirt, but warms like a jacket. Excellent touches like the sueded shoulders, jacket trim, and zipper pulls. Not many colors to choose from, but this item will be one I rely on repeatedly through the cold weather seasons."
