"Just bought this beauty two weeks ago, so time will tell how great it indeed is. Fished with it for the first time in the mountains of North Carolina, off the Blue ridge pkwy. last weekend and caught some nice brookies. This is only my second fly rod and it is amazing how much better my presentation and casting have become with just a new rod! Imagine that. So far I have no complaints and with Orvis' guarantee I don't imagine I will have too much trouble in the future"

"I bought this rod after trying several cheap rods. Boy the difference is amazing. As a beginner to the sport of fly fishing the Orvis Clearwater rod is a great starter rod, and like all Orvis products it's a great quality rod and comes with a 25 year warranty. You can't beat that!"
