"I am satisfied with the purchase of this slip. It is a high quality, functional, attractive purchase. Most of all it does what it is designed to do - - protect my shotguns. However, that said, I was later able to find another slip of equal quality for a lot less money. I will search harder next time."

"I ordered the 2 gun case and it has more than enough interior room for just about any combination of double guns in my collection (all have 26" or 28" barrels). The workmanship is good, the case looks great, and I am glad I sprang for the personalization.
Should note that the side accessory pocket is rather shallow. I expected that because the picture shows the pocket as flush with the exterior of the case. I tend to shoot older guns that do hot have a myriad of choke tubes or other accessories, so that feature was not as important to me. The pocket has room enough for a silicon cloth and some other non-bulky cleaning supplies which are all I usually take to the field."

"I was given a watch (not an Orvis product) and, fortunately, it came from a men's store that was an authorized Orvis dealer. I did not like the watch so I exchanged it for the Battenkill gun case. The appearance, quality and workmanship are typical of Orvis products...awesome. This case turns heads when I bring it out of the SUV to shoot skeet or upland hunt. It is too nice to take in a duck blind. This makes a better gift than a watch, I promise."

"My mom and bought this for my husband last year and he really loves it. It's not only nice looking on the outside but it really holds up. He has been using this hunting season and adores it. It keeps his gun protected from getting scratched and beat up, because the inside is so well made. I would really recommend this for anyone who hunts and wants to protect there gun as this product has really preformed well for my husband. I am so glad that we got it for him."

"I recently purchased a Battenkill 52" Single Gunslip for my 32" barrelled ,15" stocked sporter. This case is of far superior quality to the majority of the other canvas / leather gunslips that I have looked at. It is also competitively priced. Sizing is generous and the 48" version would comfortable accomodate any 28 to 30" barrelled shot gun without the risk of a rubber or 'kickeeze' type butt pad getting scratched by the zip.Don't waste your money on an overpriced nylon case...buy one of these!"
