"My Gokeys have been with me since 1987. They are dependable and rugged. There is no substitute. I ride my Harley wearing them and had them on when I climbed Ayers Rock in Australia. Not for the faint of heart though as these are serious boots. Buy them once, wear them for a lifetime. That's no BULL."

"At 16, I saved for 7 months to buy my Custom Gokey Snakeproof boots in 1966. I have re-soled them once and have hunted snakes all over the world and ridden motorcycles with them for years. This year I plan to buy both my son and son-in-law their own pair. These boots are still my favorites and most comfortable boots I've ever worn. From New York snow to Florida swamps, they are always dry. They set the standard in fine footware for the serious outdoorsman. "

"Gokey boots & shoes are the finest footware I have ever worn & I have worn them since 1966. I recently ordered & received a pair of the Custom Snakeproof boots & they are as well made as my first pair. It is a tribute to Jerry Doss & his son that this tradition of boot making is still alive & they deserve to be treasured as the last of the true American Craftsmen."
