"The only problem with the gift card is the inability to simply check the balance online. I would give it 5 stars in every other way, but hope this rating may motivate the I.T. Dep't. to add this feature to the website so I don't have to initiate a Live Chat or make a phone call to get the balance."

"Orvis Gift Cards are the best available. Beautifully packaged in a lovely box with tissue and ribbon - complete with catalogue. Amazing attention to detail in that whoever packaged the two I purchased recently, discretely wrote the name of one of the recipients on the outer wrap so I wouldn't have to open them to discover which was which. Thank you, will definately buy again."

"Dad gets an Orvis gift card for every occasion and always comments how its the best gift he receives. He loves to pick his own present using the catalogs sent with the gift card. The Gift Card presentation is amazing and I would recommend this gift for any Father who loves to fish, hunt, etc..."

"I never know what to get a brother, and since he is an avid fisherman, I knew Orvis was the place to go. I don't know a lure from a hook, so getting him a gift card was the way to go. It is so very convenient and easy to go thru the web pages. (I wish other sites were this easy) I know he'll love the card and probably be on the phone placing an order on 12/26! Thanks Orvis."
