Best in 3 Season Shell I've worn, September 14, 2009

"I chose the Koven last year after a decade in an old Patagonia back bowl anorak. Six of which were spent snowboarding in Montana. What I was looking for was an upgrade and more well-rounded shell. Something I could wear on a powder day at one of the local mountains in my new home state of Vermont or to my kids soccer game on a cold/wet fall afternoon. Also, I didn't want huge logos. I was looking for a clean shell in both function and fashion. In summary, the Koven has exceeded my expectations. It sports one of the best fitting hoods I've had the pleasure of wearing. It's fine with or without a helmet - easy to adjust and I still get great peripheral vision with the hood up. Which is not always the case with some shells on the market. Most importantly, it kept me dry each and every time I wore it last year. Cuff tabs are easy to use and the pockets are perfectly placed and sized. As far as three season waterproof, breathable shells, this is the best I've had."
