"I got this hat to visit Disney World in July (Orlando Florida). I wore this hat for days as we visited Sea World also. The heat was oppressive and it rained everyday, many times for brief periods. This hat was a life saver as it cut the heat and the rain ran off. I had the khaki color and it didn't stain either. I would recommend it and purchase it again."

"These Canadian marvels are worth every penny! (or Canadian dollar???).
I am a fair skinned but diehard kayak and fly fisherman. My Dad has suffered from Merkel cell carcinoma (the worst form of skin cancer), and I've had Carac chemotherapy done to my face and a basal cell carcinoma removed (neither was fun, and I don't want to go through it again!).
My dermatologist said I MUST stop wearing a cap and go full brim hat. When I found the Tilley, I said, "Where have you been all my life!".
I love the way they fit low, just above the brow. They look awesome, feel awesome, fit awesome (sized perfectly), they are so cool and light, are UPF 50 rated, washable and they have a 2 year, 50% deductible warranty if lost!. What more could you ask?
I can't recommend these highly enough. I never leave home without mine! You should get one!
With a Tilley hat, a "Buff" wraparound face shield and Mangrove sun gloves you scarcely even need to mess with sunscreen (just ask the offshore Gulf kayak fishermen!).
