Extra foam in the base makes this popular favorite stable and secure. The Lounger is made with premium heavyweight microsuede fabrics that are luxurious to the touch and stand up to heavy use and repeated washings. This bed is filled with the same high-loft memory polyester fill fiber that is used for expensive sofa cushions; it won't flatten out over time. The zippered bolster and cover make washing a breeze. Small 14"H, medium 15"H, large 16"H, x-large 17"H. Cover is washable. Imported.

Hard to launder, not as durable as I hoped,

"I purchased this bed for my English Bulldog to use while she is at my office during the day. I paid a premium because I wanted something that would be good-looking for a long time to come.
The bed looked great until the first time I had to launder it. After washing and drying the cover I wrestled with the foam pad and the two bolsters for 15 minutes and was never able to get them in straight, which left the whole bed wonky and uneven and exposed the zipper tabs for my dog to nibble on (they were formerly tucked into deep creases and were therefore not accessible to my dog). Each time I have washed it it seems to get more and more out of shape. Now I have taken the bed home because it looks like a rumpled mess and I dread the chore of taking it apart every couple of weeks to wash.
For the money, a big disappointment. Next time I would skip the bolsters and get a single piece, single zipper bed."

Best Dog Beds Available,

"I wouldn't buy my dog beds from anyone else ever again because Orvis do provide excellent quality and good customer service. When the older version of this bed was damaged, they replace it without hesitation, which is very impressive. Because of this and the quality of the beds, I wouldn't buy from anywhere else in the future.
On the downside, some of the colours are not easily available. The inside cushion on this model is very 'poofy' and a bit high, but once my dog investigated it, he managed to get in and out ok and has been sleeping soundly in it since. It seems very warm and snuggly for him, so I would defintely recommend it to anyone.
Thank you for the great products, Orvis."

"I bought the Paisley XL for my Boxer/Great Dane mix who's 80 lbs., and he absolutely LOVES IT! It's like he's sleeping in a giant marshmellow. Nice!"

They LOVE it,

"We have purchased SEVERAL Orvis dogs beds through the years, and our dogs love this one the most! (As a matter of fact, we have a total of 4 Orvis beds throughout the house: 2 upstairs, 2 downstairs). Yes, it's pricey, but it's worth it. It's held up to 120 lbs of dog over the past 5 years, and still puffy! It looks great with our furniture too! My only request, would be that it could be "disassembled" to launder. Other than that, perfect! :)"
