Great in the Snow,

"My husband thinks clothes for dogs is for sissies, but we both love the Fleece Dog Warmer. When there is wet snow on the ground our Welsh Springer Spaniel comes in with snow balls attached to all over his body that are near impossible to remove. The Fleece Warmer keeps his chest and belly snow-free. Two comments: I had to modify the undercarriage to allow more room for you-know-what and, even with the side zip and velcro neck, it is still kind of a struggle to get on, but worth it. And, even by husband admits that he looks too cute."

"I was a little hesitant when reading a couple of the reviews but after it arrived and put it on Juneau, our 11 yr old female Labrador, we were very satisfied including Juneau, who braves our very cold winters in the Adirondack Mts of New York State. It fit perfectly and was easy to put on and take off. Also, I was afraid the fleece would attract all the shedding fur but the opposite happened and none of the fur stays on the fleece. Would absolutely order this product again or recommend it to friends. Thank you."

"Our dog has very short hair and does not like the cold. With the fleece on he is willing to stay outside for a while! We bought the green fleece is a medium. The large was a little too long and baggy. The medium is a little snug, but works. It takes a little practice to get the jacket on and off the dog with ease. The side zipper is a big plus. The quality of the jacket is excellent."

"The fabric and make of the sweater is great. The only problem is my dog pees on it because it's too long underneath his belly. The price is a little high but I love my dog too much to return it. My friend altered it so he doesn't get it wet."

"Just a warning that this "Easy On, Easy Off"coat was not at all easy. I struggled to get it on my lab and eventually gave up. My other lab hid for fear I was going to attempt on him next. Disappointed because I had hoped this would work given the name of the item I had also ordered the fleece dog warmer too knowing that would not likely work...but thought I'd try since I liked the look of it better.
Bummer, but love the Orvis dog toys I picked up."

"I bought this for my English Pointer a couple of months ago. Already the zipper is broken, so I am disappointed in the quality. It's not as easy to get on and off either. I was expecting better quality from Orvis. With tax and shipping I think I paid almost $70.00 . I will be contacting customer service to get a replacement. For the most part I like the design and my dog stays warm so if I could get a replacement I will be happy."

"Fits well but neither easy on or off maybe for a small dog but my 40 lb spaniel it was a fight to get it off. the zipper doesn't open the sweater it just allows it to expand. returned for the step in one."

"Fleece is good quality, well-made, and warm. It runs larger than some coats this size, which is much better than too small, but if your dog is between sizes you may want to go with the smaller one. Green fleece is not as bright as photo, more toward avocado or olive color. Easy-on feature may be over-rated. It consists of gussets at collar and sides. I still find it awkward to get my dog's front legs through."
