"The uppers on these boots are very stiff right out of the box, but I think they'll be fine once they are broken in a little bit. The footbed itself is very comfortable. These are Kenetrek Boots, and the company is based in Montana; however, per their website these boots are made in Thailand and not Montana as the Orvis catalog and website state.

Overall, a solid boot."
