"This coat is elegant and so different from anything I've seen anywhere. It is artistic, yet appears to be from any era--Victorian through today. The web photo does not do it justice. I feel it will be a 'standout' piece I will treasure for years to come. That is what makes the price okay.

The coloring and texture is luscious. It it lightweight (I live in N.C. where winters do not get really cold), so do not consider it your "cold weather" storm coat.

I discovered it in an Orvis store, so had the opportunity to try it on versus ordering through the mail. In fact, I saw several coats that I really liked, but decided on this one because it is that "one of a kind."

My husband has many shirts, blazers, sweaters from Orvis, so I am confident the quality is outstanding--just as it has been with everything else we've purchased here.

If you're looking for something different and beautiful, you may want to consider this coat too. I love it."
