Bass Bully

A great small and largemouth bass fly from Terry Wilson. Reminiscent of the old bait casters “pig and jig”, hop this along the bottom by pointing the rod tip toward the fly with no slack, lift, remove slack and repeat. According to Terry, that's the best way to fish it. Colors, Rust, Chartreuse, Black. In sizes: 1, 4.

"I live in Texas and have been bass fishing in some small neighborhood ponds. I had moderate success until I discovered the Bass Bully at my local Orvis store. I've caught many good sized bass including several around 5 or 6 pounds. I've hooked two over 7 pounds but couldn't land them between my 4.5 pound test tippet and the weeds. The fact that it is weedless allows for an exciting presentation in the weed beds. I keep at least 5 or 6 Bass Bullies in my vest at all times. Good Fishing! "
