Tough Pants, November 9, 2009
By: quailfanatic

"I live in the hostile environment of Arizona and live to hunt quail. Almost everything has briars, stickers or cactus quills. These pants shed the briars and don't stick to the fabric like the coarse kevlar and other pant facings. I hunt 3 times a week and two hard weeks in Idaho for sage Grouse and Sharptails, I still have the same pair for three years and I'm sure they will last three more. The only pants I will wear for hunting and I've had them all. I just put in a hint to Mrs. Santa Claus for a second pair."

Solid hunting pants, August 10, 2009
By: Scratch from Northern California

"I have worn out 6 or 7 pairs of these pants as I hunt all over the northern and southern hemispheres in tough conditions. I hunt in the sheer rocks of Eastern Oregon to the cactus and rocks of Northern Baja. These pants have proven to be the most durable of any I have tried, including some that have been much more expensive. They are a little heavy but that is a compromise that I'm willing to accept as they do hold up well. The only reason for me to discard a used pair is that they eventually do get ripped up. I do not consider this to be a flaw because I know where they have been and I would rather the pants rip than me. The new style with the gusseted crotch and roomy legs is quite comfortable and allows good movement when climbing over obstacles. They resist brush well but do not work on cactus (none do). I would reccomend these pants to the avid hunter."

Excellent Pants, January 2, 2008
By: RCFramer from Saint Petersburg, FL

"These are excellent pants. They are durable and comfortable. I've used them in cold weather conditions hunting pheasant in SD and in warmer weather hunting quail in GA. Order the inseam about 1" longer than you need as they shrink. These pants will last at least 15 to 20 years with constant use. Good luck."

My Favorite Hunting Pants, October 8, 2007
By: Adam

"These Missouri Breaks Briar pants are quickly becoming my favorite. They'll get through the toughest cover, but they don't feel like a suit of armor. The gusseted seat makes them the most comfortable pants I own!"
