"I have had this watch for a year now and it has never failed me. My only qualm is that I wish that the glow was brighter. I am looking at another Orvis field watch and I hope that it performs as well as the first."

"I've owned this watch for about a year. I don't wear it every day but great for travelling, fishing and in the field. Crystal glass is scratch proof and it keeps good time. Strap could be a bit longer but overall fantastic value."

Neat Watch, But Needs Help,

"This is a gorgeous watch at first look, and i thoroughly enjoyed it for a while, but the post broke after about 3 months. Orvis replaced the watch, which was really nice, but the replacement broke again after about 6 months. Orvis again replaced the watch only this time with a different model at my request. Anyhow, i would not recommend buying this watch, because it does not hold up well. Choose a different option, Orvis makes first rate watches 99% of the time."

"This watch works great, however I would like to see some redesigns. I would like to see the day of the week added to the face of the watch, as I find this feature most helpful. I would also like to see the watch retain more luminocity. Currently it only stays luminous for about 2 hours. I would like to see this increased to 8 hours."

"My first field watch lost its winder after a year. Orvis replaced the entire product immediately. The replacement has been an oustanding time-keeper (+ 1/2 minute a week). The date window is very small and indistinct."

"I'm sending off for my third of this model watch-when I got the first-I thought it was too heavy-got used to it-loved it-broke crystal-returned to Orvis for repair-Orvis said-no repair,so sent NEW watch-that was about 2 years ago-rode motorcycle last week-end of ride--no watch-my replacement band pin was no good-ruined my day-wonderful wonderful watch"

"I just got mine yesterday and was given to me as a gift. What an excellent watch! I like the oversized face as it makes it easier for me to read the time. This is my first automatic watch since the 70's when almost any watchmaker used to make them. I'm looking forward to using it for a long time!"

"Really impressed with the quality of this watch. Oversize face with glow in the dark hands make it easy to read in the those twilight hours on the stream. And the brushed aluminum case and tan colored face look great. Also, my 2 year old loves the crystel back which allows him to see the inner workings of the auto wind mechanisum - think he's going to be an engineer. All-in-all a terrific watch."
