This all–purpose waxed–cotton jacket–33" long in size 42 for all–season wear–has a broken–in, shine–free Sylkoil finish for the ultimate in classic weather resistance. It features two front bellows pockets with snap storm flaps and two moleskin–lined handwarmer pockets. There is also a concealed zip–up wallet pocket and a full–width rear game and cartridge pocket with side zips. It is lined full length with cotton tartan. The corduroy collar is studded for an optional hood. Snap–closed throat flap and storm–fly front provide additional protection. Raglan sleeves with underarm ventilation, adjustable storm cuffs, and brass–finish two–way metal zipper. In sage. Specially treated 100% cotton shell. Cold sponge, no soap. England.Even sizes: 36–52.

"One Mighty Fine Jacket. Thorn-proof, like they say. Water proof unless it is a deluge, and does not sweat like plastic. Wind proof outside of a gale. Gains character with use. Wife hated it. Sure will miss her. After a decade and a half of constant three season use, beginning to show a little wear. Zippers, snaps and other hardware are all top drawer. Gonna get another one."

"Barbour jackets might just be one of God's gifts to man. Perfectly element-proof (i.e. rain, wind, etc.), these jackets are absolutely awesome. I have the Beaufort, which is a perfect length: long enough to wear with a blazer or suit but short enough to wear casually. Barbour jackets last forever. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

"I have always been something of a "coat nut". I have had almost every kind of coat made, and I can say with authority that the Sylkoil Beaufort jacket is the best coat I have ever owned. Living in the South, winters are always wet and the Beaufort is the perfect coat for most outdoor activities. I bought mine large enough to layer under and even the coldest weather is no match. From rainy football games to quail hunting in briars to dinner on the town, my Beaufort is always ideal."
