"I'm very glad I finally purchased this cardigan, which I now have in black and in navy. The length is slimming, the fabric is soft and warm, and the fit is perfect, with enough room for a layer underneath. What makes the cardigan unusual, in my experience, and is characteristic of Orvis designs, is the sweater's combination of the casual and the elegant. The "casual" is provided by the length, the relaxed style, and the wide ribbing at neck, placket, hem, and cuffs; the "elegant," by the length and the stand collar. I had the sweater dry cleaned, and it came back fine though fluffier than it had been. Next time I'll machine wash with no spin, roll up briefly in a bath towel and then dry flat, and press through a damp dish towel to restore the original smoothness. This is a sweater I'd like to have looking its best for a long time."

"I really love this sweater. It has become a staple in my wardobe immediately. The only issue I had was the price. I don't normally spend this amount of money on one item of clothing. I would like to see a better price & I would buy another one. It is soft & warm and it looks great. I have gotten many complements on it."

"I bought one of these last Fall, and was surprised at how versatile it is. It is a good weight, substantial but not too heavy. I like the longer length and stand-up collar. It can be worn casually over jeans, or with dressier pants to go out to dinner. I just ordered another one."

"I thought this might be a heavier weight than it was. Also, it's very loose, with very long sleeves. I ordered the pale yellow one, which looked a sandy colour on my screen, but it turned out to be a lemon yellow, which I didn't like."

"This sweater has been on top of my stack all winter because I reach for it again and again. The soft texture and warmth are cozy. I can always count on comfort and good looks. The longer length adds to it's appearance and comfort. Sizing is loose and fits over other layers easily.

"Although I've only worn the garment two or three times and can't speak objectively to the durability or possible "pill" factor, the quality of the garment appears excellent. It is a nice compliment to jeans and casual pants even if a bit boxier than it appears in the picture and the collar is heavy and won't stay in place. Over all, a good buy."
