"I would highly recommend these socks for wading or under hungtin boots on the cold early spring steelhead days on the river. They keep your feet warm and breath nicely. In fact, they breath so well, I also where them under my waders in the summer. They are just so darn comfortable."

"Very nice comfortable socks perfect fit. Keeps the toes warm longer on those frosty mornings. I lasted a little over 2 hours in 33 degree water in thigh to waist deep water. used with the under wader fleece system You can't beat this set up for winter fly fishing"

"This socks are just perfect; I wish I could give then 6 stars. I used to get some good loop stitch socks from a British compamy, but over the years they've made them thinner and thinner so they don't have the padding and don't last. I've had these Orvis socks more than a year now and they're still good as new. They are lovely and thick with great padding and insulation. They're not just good for wading; I use them everyday in ordinary shoes. Best of all they don't need special treatment when washing, but go in an ordinary cycle for washing and tumble drying. Perfect. I just pray that Orvis keep making them as I couldn't manage without them now."

You just won't want to take them off!
"What does a sock have to do to get a rating of 5? Just saying these are comfortable hardly does them justice. These are the MOST COMFORTABLE socks I have EVER WORN. They hug the feet, they fit in waders, they breathe, they absorb moisture and the seams do not press against your toes! During the peak humidity of summer or braving the coldest of Steelhead mornings, these more than do the job. I rarely take them off; it's like walking on a cushion of tender, loving care. I buy lots and give them as gifts to all my friends and family: especially the women in my life who complain all winter long that they are cold. Warm, comfortable feet solve that problem."

"It seems a bit silly to me, writing to you about a pair of socks, but these socks are excellent! The most comfortable and long wearing socks I have ever owned. I wear them under my waders, hunting boots and with everyday knock around shoes, cool weather to bitterly cold they are the best."

"As a fly fishing guide wading in cold water all day, I can't afford cold feet. These are the very best warm, and comfortable socks I've ever come across. Definitely, a must have when fishing the elements. They never slide down, and keep their great shape year after year.
