Cut on the bias and sewn in panels for a terrific drape, this flattering long black plaid skirt has a simple, no-waist design with side zippered entry. An invisible elastic insert in the back waist adds comfort. Long skirt in black plaid. Polyester/rayon/spandex. Hand wash or dry clean. Imported.Sizes: 6-20; about 30" long.

Elegant and versatile skirt, March 9, 2010

"I bought this skirt in size 16. I love the way it looks. It compliments full figure really well. The belt has elastic at the back. It makes the skirt very comfortable without compromising its fitted form.
The material is not very thick and there is no underskirt, so this skirt won't be suitable for cold winters. But it is perfect for spring/fall."

"This skirt is elegant-looking. The construction at the waist is inventive with an elastic piece sewn in at the back inside facing. The material gathers just a little there but is hardly noticeable, and this elastic magically allows for 3-4 inches of expansion without looking like an elastic-waisted garment! It zips and buttons on the side. The waist on the Size 6 measures 28" unstretched; full expansion is 31"-32". Sadly, I have to return it, however. It is 32" long (not 30" like the description says) and if you take 2-3 inches off at the bottom it would ruin the lines where it flares. And you can't raise it at the top without losing all that brilliance in the waist construction. So sad. A blackberry or merlot item will go best with it. Search for those words in the search box."
