Defective Unit,

"We were pleased with the appearance of the watch but were disappointed to find that the unit that was sent was defective. The stem would not return to the "run" position after setting the watch. Also, it was not shipped with the plastic restraining tab as noted in the instructions. We are in the process of returning the watch and hope to have better luck with a replacement."

"For months I have wanted to purchase this watch from Orvis. Recently I treated myself and made the purchase. I bought the Color Burst watch with the blue band and even bought the multi-colored band for a replacement down the road. I am a school teacher and thought this was going to be the perfect watch for me! It is a great looking watch, but once I wore it, I sadly discovered that the thin gold arms set against the gold circle on the face make it very difficult to read the time. I kept wearing it, hoping I would get use to it. Unfortunately, I have gone back to wearing by old watch. :( Orvis: please consider changing the face or making the arms more distinct so it is a watch that is easier to tell time."

"This watch is very attractive and an accessory that can perk up an otherwise plain outfit. The problem for me was that, even though it fit well, the face of the watch was constantly shifting position. When I wanted to check the time while carrying things, I couldn't see the face of the watch, and didn't have a hand free to adjust it. I have no idea if others have had this problem."

"The watch is lovely to look at; the numerals are easy to read, and it does make me smile.
The one caveat is that the olive watch band is stiff and unyielding, and consequently the watch itself sort of "sits up" on my wrist. I am hoping with time that the band may soften and adjust to my wrist. If not, then I probably won't wear this watch as much as I had intended."

"Having purchased the Rainbow watch over a year ago and been delighted with the multi coloured strap and the large coloured watch face I shall be adding the same watch with the single coloured strap to my wardrobe. The added bonus for me was being able to tell the time without having to put my glasses on ! Also the variety of outfits it went so perfectly with. Once again well done Orvis."

"My colorful watch arrived today with the pomegranate band. It really is a darling watch. Because it makes me smile to look at it, I think it might be called the "Happy Watch". The pomegranate band is a coral pink - perfect with everything I intend to wear it with. The watch face is about the size of a quarter, so it's not too large, yet easy to read. This would make a great gift for someone."
