"I'm 5'9'' tall and the large size is perfect. My chest is 44.5'' and it zips up just fine with plenty of room to breath. The embroidery of item images next to the pocket is a nice touch and the overall attention to detail on this vest is immaculate! The black piping shown on some of the pockets is rubbery to the touch and its also a nice contrast to the olive color I ordered. The elastic cinch cord located on the inside of the vest was a nice surprise. Overall, a great investment & I expect many years of service from it."
