This American steer hide leather briefcase pays tribute to the saddlebags carried by the U.S. cavalry in the 1850's. Front straps feature workable buckles and snap closures for fast access. Inside, you'll find front and back canvas dividers with pockets for pens, business cards, PDA, cell phone, etc. Plenty of room for your laptop as well. "After buying the Col. Littleton leather journal through Orvis UK I decided I had to buy his saddlebag briefcase and was not disappointed. The briefcase is the perfect size to comfortably carry a 15" laptop, A4 folder, leather journal, book and a couple of plastic folders so its perfect for business, if you need anything larger than this I suggest you buy the Col. Littleton Wooden Strong Box! The quality and attention to detail is excellent, the leather is top quality, thick and strong and I had my initials on the brass plaque. It attracts everybodies attention and is a conversation starter, no mean feat because I work in the City of London where $2,000.00 brief cases are standard issue. Thanks again Col. Littleton for this Americana classic."

High Quality Beautiful Bag,

"This is a beautiful work of art, and a high quality premium leather bag. I have had the bag for nearly 3 years now and it is extremely tuff. My only complaint is that the bag was smaller than I expected it to be and does no easily hold legal size files. For the price, I expected a little more in size and capacity. It can be a little difficult pulling folders, notebooks, larger items in and out of the bag. Because of the softer style leather used, it doesn't maintain a wide opening and requires a little more effort to place things in and take things out of the bag. However, that being said, I should have looked more closely on the measurements listed on the spec sheet, that is my own fault for not looking and considering that more closely. If this was a harder leather that held a more consistent form, it would probably be fine. I own multiple Col. Littleton Products, leather journals, portfolios, key chains, and more, and have loved them all! Great customer service, they really back their products and the quality can't be beat. The only reason why I would not rate this bag as excellent in every way is because of disappointment of size VS. the cost of the bag. Otherwise, I have looked at thousands of bags and besides one other company I recently found, this is the only bag that comes close to what I was looking for. I wanted very classic, vintage, product with supreme quality leather that would last forever and only look better as time went on, and this is it. I would love to see Col. Littleton offer a larger bag similar to this one, with thicker saddle leather, i would buy it! You won't find another company that takes any more pride in their products."
