interesting design but flawed, August 6, 2009

"I'm keeping the dress as I like the trim, the color and the skirt length. But it needed alterations.

In order to wear the dress, I had to finish tacking down the side zipper so it would not hang up when opened/closed and trap me in the dress.

Also, I added a band of elastic at the back to the pleated waist panel so the size 6 dress now comes closer to my body and the dress has a little shape."
