"I don't often buy clothes online because of possible problems with the sizing. Thanks to previous reviews I went up one size from a medium to a large. The sweatshirt fits great after 2 washings. I really like the comfort and the style looks great. The sweatshirt keeps me warm and it is very well made. I highly recomend this sweatshirt just remember to go up one size because it will shrink a little."

"While the sweatshirt material is very comfortable the fit is out of proportion...the waistband is far too large for the size of the body...it is a gathered elastic waistband which should fit snugly to the waist ...instead it fits loosely and hangs straight so unless you are rather large around the middle it doesn't fit well. I have an athletic build and while the overall sizing was fine the waistband was far too large...I had to return both sweatshirts I ordered."

"Overall this is a sharp-looking sweatshirt, but thanks to prior reviews, I bought a size larger than I would have normally with Orvis products. BEWARE OF SHRINKAGE! I PURCHASED AN EXTRA LARGE INSTEAD OF A LARGE, AND EVEN WASHING IT IN COLD WATER, IT SHRANK IN THE DRYER TO APPROXIMATELY A LARGE NOW AFTER ONLY ONE WASHING. NEXT TIME, COLD WASH, LINE DRY AND HOPE IT DOESN'T SHRINK OR IT IS GOING BACK. Additionally, the stretch material at the wrists and the waist is not very elastic and just sort of hangs there even after washing."

"The CFO jacket is beautiful! The only complaint I have since I will be wearing it as a 'top coat, it needs at least one pocket. If I had my way, Orvis would be my only supplier of clothing. And how about those invincible socks? I have six pairs that are at least five years old and they are a bit rough looking, but I will still choose them in my drawer! Why? I have very poor feet and these are the only sox I can wear all day. The three more I just purchased are even better. At the rather high price, they are a bargain!!"

"I wear a medium size but I found that there was a lot of shrinkage with this sweat shirt even with carefully following the washing instructions. Hence I suggest that if you usually wear a medium size you would be well to order a large size with this particular garment. The Montana Morning sweat shirts seem to run more true to size although I have yet to wash them. Needless to say I will be most disappointed if the Montana's shrink as much as other style. Thanks,"
