Little Rascal

It's a smaller, slimmer pattern, so it's just different enough from the typical big streamer patterns that you get strikes you wouldn't get on the big flies. Plus, the Marabou has a great, lively movement and action in the water. Combine that with the conehead and you get that all-important jigging movement that predator fish often can't pass up; plus the conehead gets the fly down better in deeper and heavier water. In black, white, black/white, ginger, olive/white.Streamer fly in sizes: 6, 8, 10, 12.

"Just got back from the Kennebago River in Maine. Using the olive and white Little Rascal, I caught my best fish of the trip, a 14" 1.25 lb. native brook trout. When I first saw the Little Rascal in the Orvis Newsletter, I knew it would work; it did. Now, I'm going to tie my own."
