Leather gloves that are warm enough for Vermont!,
February 27, 2010

"After putting skis in the ski rack I found that I had taken off these gloves and left them on top of the car. One survived a 5 hour trip to the Adirondaks riding along up there, but the other was lost. I was overjoyed to find that Orvis still offers them. They are wonderful gloves-- tough, dressy enough, and WARM. Orvis, keep them for always!"

Beautiful but-,
February 26, 2010

"The gloves are beautiful and well-made. I was certain that the cashmere lining would be warm but I was mistaken.
My hands are overly sensitive to cold and I have been unsuccessful in finding gloves which are fashionable, attractive-and warm.
I have been an Orvis customer for years and this is the first unsatisfactory purchase."

Not a good choice,
January 19, 2010

"I purchased a pair of these gloves for my wife and she has had them less than two months. They are already falling apart. Not good quality for the expense. The loop for the button has pulled out and it doesn't look like there is a way to repair them. She likes the look and the feel of the gloves but is not happy about the durability. We live in Texas so she does not even wear the gloves that often. Buyer beware."

"Length of glove warms the wrist with good fit, finger area provides ample wiggle-room without being bulky, cashmere lining has proven to stand up to northern climate by maintaining warmth plus durability season after season, stitching holds up to daily use, deerskin keeps the damp wind out while maintaining it's good looks, a glove my hand enjoys slipping into everyday. After 50 yrs. of glove wearing, this is indeed my "perfect glove"."

Darn - did not fit,

"Lovely gloves, but even the smallest size was too big for my small hands -- specifically the ring finger, pinkie and thumb. Otherwise, they are well made and soft. Sadly, I returned them."

Pretty and Practical,
October 29, 2008

"These are perhaps the best pair of gloves I have ever owned. They are unbelievably comfortable with the cashmere lining. I was concerned they would not be insulated enough, but so far they have been plenty warm. Moreover, the supple leather means the gloves are not so bulky that they prevent one from using her hands to pick up keys or drive, for example. And as the gloves are quite stylish too, they seem fit for almost any occassion."

"I was so impressed with these gloves I purchased both colors. They have a soft, luxurious feel combined with a sleek, classy appearance. The fit is superb and hands stay toasty warm. I highly recommend!"
