"My wife got this for me at Christmas, I love it, it is very comfortable, the leather has a great supple feel to it. Believe it or not, my scores improved, you might wonder how this happened, well simple, everybody at my club has complemented the vest, the extra attention made me self conscious and I paid a little more attention to my shoots, pretty simple huh! It’s a little on the warm side, if weather is over 78 degrees I have to switch to a mesh vest. Thanks Orvis…"

Nicest Sporting Clays Vest on the Market!, January 18, 2008

"I had been looking at this vest for quite awhile online and debated about spending the money. I have a few higher end clays vests that were close to this cost but the quality and appearance of Orvis vest crushes them all. The leather is very soft and supple but thick enough to stand up to regular wear and the mounting of a shotgun (I shot at more than 6000 targets last year wearing this vest - don't ask me how many broke!). The vest is comfortable to wear in all but the hottest temps. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the stitching and the inside satin lining.

I have only seen one other manufacturer's all leather vest that comes close to the quality of the Orvis model... and it is more than double the cost!"
