"This vest pleases me in almost every way. The weight and quality of the leather was more than expected and both front and back. To nitpick I might say that I prefer to have a back adjustment strap, but without it the look is cleaner. I also prefer buttons to snaps, but those I hardly ever use anyway. I am more than satisfied."

"All in all a nice vest, well made, durable leather, and nice looking. Goes with jeans for a "dressy" relaxed look. The truth is I originally wanted a sturdy vest to wear for outside work. This vest may be a little too nice for that. One problem I have is after working wood (splitting, chopping, shaving, and turning) my hands tend to get rough and the lining tends to grab on my hands. A little annoying when I reach into the pockets and the lining comes out adhering to my hands."

"My husband wanted a suede vest for a long time, but we could not find the perfect one. The vests listed in the catalog were not what he wanted. I went on line and found just what he wanted. He loved it and it fit well. He wore it yesterday, and received many compliments on the vest and the way it looked. As usual, Orvis came through again with service and quality. Thank you."

"The vest was delivered today, and I've tried it with many and various shirts/sweatshirts/Henleys. I got size large and it works just fine. The vest is diferent than the black HD vests that Ive been wearing for years. It also matches in quality , construction, eye appeal with a custom made black HD vest that I had made in Spain about 15 years ago. The Orvis vest is leather all around. I don't think I'd use this vest for driving one of my HDs, but there are many ocasions where the Orvis vest will be just fine."
