"Had my hat for a couple of months. Look great wears well. But! Got caught out in the heavy snow a few days ago and the feather detail partially came of the hat band. Bit disappointing. That apart Great Hat."

"Since 2001, I've purchased three Jefferson River hats. The first took nearly five years of constant and universal use before it finally bit the dust. Now I own two of these gems. They offer enough diversity that I use one for dress, and the other at the barn and for horseback riding. This hat can be shaped to a variety of styles, wears extremely well, and travels like a true companion. I only wonder why they no longer appear in the Orvis catalogs."
