Shrinkage problems,

"I have had several of these and like the general look and colour, however all but one of mine has shrunk in the wash despite scrupulously following instructions. Disastrous if you already take the largest available size (XL). It is possible to produce a non-shrink top because my eggplant one has not shrunk. Please look into this and see if you can improve; if not please initiate larger sizing eg XXL so that when shrunk, it will be the correct size."

"This is a very feminine looking sweater because of the collar. Also, the collar is high so when you bend over/down the shirt does not open up (no exposure).
The material is not as soft as other shirts, but maybe that helps it retain its shape. The size is a true fit.
You don't be disappointed if you order this sweater."

"This sweater was on back order, and it was well worth the three month wait. It's a very comfortable and attractive fabric blend-soft, cozy, and breathable, and has a flattering, non-clingy fit. It launders well and so far, has needed no ironing. It's casual, & can be worn with pants or a skirt, tucked in or not, and can be topped with a jacket for a dressier look."

"I have two of this sweater already and was delighted to get a third one in a new color (Peacock). The shawl collar is one of the few designs that looks good on my buxom figure, and as a plus, I can turn up the collar for warmth. Would love to see more colors; I'll buy this in any color that suits me."

"I ordered 3 of these based on my love for the shawl collar 3/4 sleeve shirts Orvis sold in the spring / summer. I love the style, but did not like the ribbing. I prefer the smooth fabric like the spring / summer style. I did not keep these based on the ribbing."

"i own several of these tops from years past and they are still good-looking after many seasons. I just wish they came in more colors-I have 2 in black and one in off-white and would like more-especially black -they were in the early fall catalogue but not in the latest one and maybe a dark green-not lime or grass green, and maybe a dark burgundy or raspberry I would buy many more."

"I've worn out 3 of these tops, have four on hand and am ordering a couple more. They wash well, look terrific and are very comfortable -- not too loose or too tight, also not too long, so they can be worn tucked or NOT. I'm not shaped at all like the model in the picture, but the medium top fits me just the same as it fits her"

"I absolutely love this top! I have it in the short sleeve and long sleeve version. It is a boxier fit, not too close to the body which I absolutely love. If you are looking for a slim fit top this is not the top for you. It washes and dries well with no shrinkage."
