Whale Watching In Mexico
"I bought this hat over a year ago and I have to admit I wear all the time. It has been a great hat. The stretch band inside the hat makes it not only comfortable but keeps the hat on when the ocean wind is blowing... If I had to change anything at all it would be to make the stretch band removable for washing. I plan to buy the same hat again this year."

"For the money, this hat is as good as it gets: high quality straw and weave and a sharp-looking design. But the secret is the CoolMax stretchable sweatband which keeps the hat securely on my head on windy days without feeling tight and also allows for optimal fit for those of us with heads slightly larger than71/2 and smaller than 75/8. Great job, Orvis!!"

"Ecuadorians know straw hats well, so I was pleased to see this one at my ORVIS store. The putty color is distinctive and is more like cafe con leche. It wears comfortably in the heat, on the golf course and is durable. You'll be pleased, as I was."

"A nice hat but it lacks some qualities I was looking for to rate it any higher. The band is not as soft and quilted as I would have liked in a hat of this price and reputation. I was a bit disappointed in the number of broken weave straws but I may have just gotten unlucky. I found the canvas bimini or the Raffia Fisherman's hat a better buy."

"The summer of 2007 was my second wearing this hat and I still love it as much as the day I received it. The soft elastic headband makes it extremely comfortable to wear and the wide brim gives plenty of shade for my entire face and neck. It makes even the hottest days more bearable. "I have had my Snowy River hat for three summers and it still fits great. Even in hot Texas it doesn't make my head sweat worse. I can sometimes forget I even have it on it is so gentle to wear. I get a lot of comments from it too. People take notice of a sophisticated hat."
