"This was my first purchase from Orvis and reading previous reviews expectations were high. I ordered 2 Tee shirts, Royal which was fine and Eggplant which was NOT. Think Eggplants in greengrocers - the colours are rich, deep, glossy. This Tee shirt colour was the opposite. Dull, drab, faded washed out. Sadly I will be returning it."

"Perfect LS tee that keeps it shape, washes well and hangs dry with no wrinkles should you choose. Sizing was good, with the sleeve length just right for me. The tee is warm but is not an overly heavy cotton fabric. Great for layering or on their own. I bought four in various colors and love them! Thank you, Orvis."

"I own 8 of these tee shirts - 5 long-sleeved and 3 short-sleeved. The colors are rich and the fit is excellent - generously-cut yet not a bit baggy. In fact they are so classy that my husband, who says he is "glad I'm not a jeans and tee shirt sort of woman", doesn't notice that I am, in fact, wearing tee shirts most of the time. :)"

"I have been searching for a well sewn tee shirt, made with a substantial fabric, for almost a year. I kept ordering and returning tee shirts while my old ones fell apart.
The Orvis tees are the best I've found. Also, they seem true to size. I have washed the one I have a couple times; and it washed well."
